Attractions of the Ieshima Islands
The Harimanada Ieshima Islands, located in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, consist of the four inhabited islands of Ieshima Honto, Bouzejima, Dangajima, and Nishijima, as well as 44 scenic islands of various sizes, and are also known as "islands of happiness. Visitors will experience a tour of bottom trawling fishing in the Ieshima Islands. Bottom trawling is expected to produce a variety of seafood that changes with the season, including shrimp, squid, sole, and, if you are lucky, crab. After the fishing experience, island residents will teach you how to cook the caught seafood and enjoy a barbecue or other meals. Please take this opportunity to experience the fishing industry of the Ieshima Islands in the midst of the Setouchi nature, feel closer to the sea and nature, and enjoy the Setouchi Ieshima Islands to the fullest.
